New urban leisure park coming to Rotherham

Acting on behalf of Rotherham Council's chosen preferred developer, Muse Developments, Pudney Shuttleworth have been able to conclude pre-lets across the whole of the proposed urban leisure park in Rotherham, to be named as Forge Island.

Located on the edge of Rotherham town centre, it will have pedestrian links with the railway and bus interchanges and the main shopping streets.

The scheme is being funded by Rotherham Council and through the efforts of Pudney Shuttleworth and their joint letting agent Barker Proudlove, it has been totally pre-let to The Arc Cinema (for an 8 screen cinema), 69 bed Travelodge and 5 restaurants for Estabulo Sakku Samba, Cow & Cream, Rustic Pizza, Casa Peri Peri and Cafe Noor, along with 340 car parking spaces.

Muse Developments have started on site and the projected date for completion for the scheme is early 2024.
