£25.25 million Office Funding Achieved

British Steel Pension Fund has forward funded the new KPMG 61,000 sq ft office to be build by Muse Developments on the Sovereign Street car park site to the south of Leeds rail station, on the site of the former Queen's Hall. The deal, representing a 6.5% yield, was orchestrated by Richard Fisk of Pudney Shuttleworth who worked in conjunction with Allsop LLP of London.
To be known as One Sovereign Square, this funding will act as a catalyst for the location which will now see Bruntwood develop offices alongside KPMG's new Yorkshire region Headquarters. KPMG have committed to a 15 year lease at £25psf. The development is due for completion in Summer 2014.
